AeraSell is a reseller tool. Right now the public part is a free listing audit. This page covers what happens to what you type into it.
There are two separate ways photos reach AeraSell, and they are handled differently.
1. Free sample listing: processed in memory, not saved
- You upload 1 to 3 photos. They are sent once to an AI vision service to draft your listing, held only in memory during that request, and not saved by us.
- To keep it to one free sample per visitor, we set a cookie and briefly note your IP address.
- The draft is AI-written. Check details and price before you list.
2. Photos you upload when you sign up: stored privately
- This is different from the free sample. If you add photos to the sign-up form, they are stored privately so we can prepare your first eBay listing, and our team is notified with private links to them. Up to 6 of them are also sent to our AI provider (xAI) to write your free trial draft. We use them only for that and delete them on request.
Voice editing
- If you use magic talk to edit, your recording (or typed request) and the draft you are editing are sent to our AI provider, xAI, to turn it into text and make the edit. We don't keep the recording.
Connecting your eBay account
- When you connect eBay, you approve access on eBay's own sign-in screen. eBay then gives us access tokens for your account. We store them encrypted.
- We use them only to create and publish listings for you, and only when you tap Publish. Nothing goes to eBay without that tap.
- What we store: the encrypted tokens, when they expire, and a record of which drafts you published. We never see or store your eBay password.
- To disconnect: sign in to eBay, go to Account settings, then Sign in and security, then Third-party app access. Select View, check AeraSell and select Revoke access. Or email hello@aerasell.com and we'll delete your stored tokens. There is no disconnect button inside AeraSell.
- On eBay, the app may show up under its developer name, Vintage Vault Lister. That is AeraSell.
Disconnecting eBay
You can disconnect your eBay account at any time with “Disconnect eBay” on the publish page or the store audit page. When you do, AeraSell deletes the eBay sign-in tokens it stored for you and asks eBay to revoke them. Your drafts on AeraSell stay, and nothing on eBay is deleted: your listings stay live. You can also remove AeraSell's access in your eBay account settings. You can reconnect anytime.
The free audit
- You paste a listing title and description. Our server scores it and sends the result back to your screen. The audit runs on our own rules; your listing isn't sent to an AI service.
- Email is optional. If you add one, we may keep it with your score, the first 500 characters of the listing and any store URL you entered, so we can follow up with you about AeraSell.
- If you leave email blank, nothing from the audit is kept.
- We don't sell or rent your email or your listings.
Email from us
If you gave us your email, we'll only write about AeraSell, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to delete your email at any time.
Emailing us
The “Email us” and contact links open your email app with a message to us. If you send it, we keep your email only to reply to you.
Hosting and cookies
The site is hosted on Vercel, which handles standard request details such as IP address and browser type to serve the site and keep it secure. See Vercel's privacy policy. AeraSell doesn't run ads. Essential cookies are always on: one keeps you signed in to your free trial, one marks a used free sample, one keeps a demo access link working, one keeps your eBay connection signed in, and one remembers your cookie choice.
Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, and analytics cookies
With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta Platforms, and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and steps people use, such as starting a demo, uploading photos, creating a listing draft, connecting eBay, running a store audit or Fix it, and starting or finishing checkout. This helps us understand what works on the site.
If you accept, the pixel loads and Meta receives the page address, the name of the step (for example “audit_run”), simple counts such as how many photos you chose, and the standard details your browser sends (IP address, browser type, and Meta's own cookies, such as _fbp). We don't send your name, email, eBay details, photos or listing text to Meta. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.
If you accept, we also load Google Analytics (gtag.js). Google receives the page you are on (without demo codes, referral codes, or the query string), the name of the step (for example “demo_start” or “purchase”), a button id when you use a main button, the site you leave to when you follow a link off AeraSell, simple counts such as how many photos you chose, and the standard details your browser sends (IP address, browser type, and Google's own cookies). We don't send your name, email, eBay details, photos, or listing text to Google. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Consent: the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics do not load until you tap Accept on the cookie banner. If you tap Decline, neither script is requested. To change your choice at any time, use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops both from loading from then on. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
